FAQ

What?

It's a list of links, updated weekly, with things I would usually leave open in a tab, hoping I'll one day get around to dealing with them. I want this project to be as low-key as possible, so there are no hottakes, no comments, only titles and tags. I don't neccessarily endorse things posted here – after all, often I haven't actually gotten around to looking at them yet. Basically, this is me trying to work out a sane way of interacting with the modern internet.

So: An experiment in randomised nanoblogging. A note-taking practise. A memory aid. An encouragement. A contribution to a weirder internet.

Why?

It's nice to have a presence on the internet that doesn't belong to the Stacks, and can be weird and one-off and non-monetisable, that doesn't feel like producing "content". I like the thought of turning the hours I spend browsing the feeds into something tangible. Also: why not? It's fun to build things!

How?

This site is generated using a one-off static site generator written in python, which takes the links stored as YAML files and generates a HTML page, styled with a touch of CSS. I'll put the code on github eventually.

Who?

This guy. Hello!
